Among the aims undertaken by SUFAL NGO one of them are conservation of Indian Art & Culture by documenting it through films, documentaries & creating public awareness through showing films, heritage walk & various other means, restoration of monuments and their management; holding of awareness workshop for students, teachers of schools and colleges and heritage walks to various historical sites. SUFAL’s aim is to instill a sense of social responsibility towards preserving India’s common heritage. SUFAL works towards conserving folk music by documenting & presenting it to the public by conducting various cultural events.

India is very rich in terms of tribal art and culture,so SUFAL aims to serve as a major resource centre for the arts, especially written, oral and visual source materials. With this Sufal also aims to provide a forum for a creative and critical dialogue through performances, exhibitions, multi-media projections, conferences, seminars and workshops between and amongst the diverse arts, traditional and cotemporary.
